Yijing Huang is a multidisciplinary creator who excels at integrating meaningful design with creativity. She approaches design with a sense of humor and a touch of whimsy, dedicated to exploring various fields including furniture design, product design, illustration, UI/UX design, digital media, conceptual design, and graphic design. 

Hello! Here is a bit about me : )

My hometown is Shanghai, China, where I grew up before pursuing my bachelor's degree in Product Design and Manufacture at the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China. From 2022 to 2024, I pursued a Master's in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design.

I have a passion for anime, manga, and Japanese Kawaii culture, finding joy in unique stories and aesthetics. I also enjoy playing the piano and cooking. For many years, I've kept a diary, documenting my thoughts and experiences.

• My "Furnicreature" thesis project was exhibited at the Rhode Island Convention Center from May to June.

2024- The Metal Show

• My investment casting piece, "Inazuma Vision," was showcased in March at the ID Gallery.

2023 - RISD Industrial Design Biennial "Emotional // durable"

• My project, "FW Concrete 2022," was displayed at the Sol Koffler Gallery from March to April.
