Camo isohypse line
The customer mentioned several times about the small Ru Mei town he went to during his trip. Since contour lines are often associated with travelling, maps and scenery, I used it as my design topic. I extracted the contour lines near the Ru Mei town, played around with the lines and extrated my own shapes from it.

Tree shades
This concept uses the gaps between the patterns to let light come through, just like how sun light penetrates the tree leaves.

National highway
I extracted lines from China’s national highway map and combined colors from satellite photos of north west China.
